Keith & Kelly Kendall
Kotzebue, Alaska

God has called us 30 miles North of the Arctic Circle to minister the Gospel in the native Alaskan village of Kotzebue. Many here are poor and suffering the effects of alcoholism and abuse in their homes. The children seem to be the most affected, but the needs are widespread.

The Lord has put it on our hearts to reach out to the youth of the native community here. The lack of family structure in their lives makes the need for Jesus even more apparent. But the children here are very open to those who will give them time and a little love.

Because of God’s work in our own lives, we are confident that He is able and willing to take these broken lives and give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. Isaiah 61:3

CCSA Connection
We at CCSA have known the Kendall's for 4 years and have seen the Lord do an amazing work through this family in Kotzebue.  The Lord has used them to minister to numerous Native American men, women and children, as well as establish a Christian radio station...one of only 2 in town!  Praise God

Please pray for the work in Kotzebue!

Every Friday, there is a group of men from CCSA that meet at the bus station downtown.  The Street Ministry focuses on giving simple presentations of the gospel, providing gospel tracts, and following up with people that have heard the message from us.  This ministry reminds us that "the harvest is ready, but the laborers are few."
